Celebrities and doodads.

I've been very busy lately. Can you believe I'll be an english professor one day? Wow. Time flies since my last upload! Here are some brief and quick sketches done months and months ago now. I promise you fine folks I'll have more to show in no time :)

So without further aideu, random celebrity doodles. If you couldn't guess, most of these were done around the time of that "Dark Knight" movie and everybody (including myself) had a bit of a Heath Ledger infatuation.

Sketch dump! Nov. '07 - Feb. '08

The New York Dolls circa 1975 or so!
Why, hello there folks! Here's some sketches and doodles ranging from November of 2007 to February of this year. Enjoy some angry scribbles about inbred suburban rich kids, some cutesy doodles of me and my bald boyfriend, and some character studies!Just a little bit of venting about the shallow suburban idiots that go to my college.
Some scribbles of my comic characters.
Lovey-dovey doodles, featuring my whippet Boomer!
This was supposed to be used for a book cover, but was scrapped. I like his expression!

Drawn during last year's X-Mas, when Rob and myself were stuck in Kansas City in 25 degree weather!

Yeah, I do a lot of "making fun" of people, don't I?

When I was in third grade I made up these ridiculous anthropomorphic superhero characters. One was a rat with horns, and his girlfriend was a bunny with lots of ears. I think they were mutants or something! Haha. Here's the updated versions.

That's all for now, folks!

Drawings and stuff!

A love-dovey birthday pic for my super boyfriend.

Hello, folks!
Been busy, living life and all the goodies that go with it. I got a tattoo, I started my Bachelors Program, and I'm just busy in general. I have been working on my comic like a faithful little spud, though. Alas, you're not going to see any of it yet! Sorry!
In the mean-time, have some colored doodles I did in August... click on the pictures to make them bigger!
A highly accurate self-portrait. If you can guess where this quote is from, you're pretty cool.
More character doodles from my comic. Just thought these would look cool with some color splashed on em!

Have a great day! And don't eat too much candy!

My long lost viewers...

Okay, so I've been a baaad baaad blogger. I know I haven't touched this thing in ages, but fear not, loyal compadres! I have much art to share. I've even reduxed some of my old comic characters! Enjoy! (Remember, you can click the images to make them bigger!)

P.S.: I like to paint naked ladies! (See Below)
---------
First off, some random scribbles...

(These Booji Boy heads are sketches for a tattoo I'd like to get. It's still in the creative process.)

(Failed Self-Portaits... I promise you, I'm not this ugly.)

----
Now, the good stuff. As you know, I've been working on a comic for quite a while now. Although there hasn't been as much progress as I'd like there to have been (it's not even half way finished), I have been very busy drawing character sheets.
Here's some of the cast... from left to right: Gwen, the comic store cashier, Rick, the disgruntled nerd, and Billy, the sleazeball... to the far right are some character sketches of Billy.

This is a small portion of the beginning of the comic. I haven't even added the dialogue yet!

--------

Some of you may remember a very badly-drawn webcomic that I kept frequently updated from the years of 2001-2003. The comic was called "Plug Puppies" and it was my main staple of self-entertainment during my time in high school. Looking back at it now, it was pretty terrible.
I decided to give re-drawing the characters a go, so here you go... these aren't all of the characters, but I got as far as this before my hand started to cramp up! :\

------

And thus concludes today's art dump! I hope you've enjoyed yourself, kiddos. I'm going to go drink some wine and take a nap.

Happy Halloween!

BOO!
That's right, boys and girls, it's everybody's favorite spooky holiday tonight. I've been sick and working as a waitress, which hasn't been very fun, but I found some older art today that is kitsch! So I am uploading that, as well as some more recent stuff. Hope you enjoy!
----
First off, I redid the flyer for Attacked!, which is South Florida's ONLY weekly punk rock and new wave night. You can visit the Attacked! Myspace page here!

Remember, you can click the pictures to make them bigger!

Secondly, I HAVE BEEN WORKING ON COMICS AGAIN. You heard me right, chilluns, after years of hiatus I have picked it back up. I'm several pages into two differently-themed comics. One of them is a short vignette about an evangelical woman who walks in on her son masturbating (this one will be finished very soon and you'll get to see it!) and the other one is about a young, nerdy anthropologist married to a cavewoman (literally). Anyhow, I've been doing lots of character studies for the latter, so here's one little teaser pic of the main character, Rick, drunkenly burying himself in his neighbor's breasts.

Thirdly, here is a rescan of my zombie boy watercolor drawing, and some older sketches I found today while cleaning up:

That's all for now!

Inkstains, anyone?

Hey, kids! It's Julee, again, with another installment of scribbles and inksplots. Most of these were drawn in an angered fit between hangovers and work, except for the colored poster, which I designed for some good pals of mine over at Roxanne's Thursday night, Attacked!. Click on the pictures to make them bigger!

You can visit Attacked's myspace at: http://www.myspace.com/attackedrox ! Now, onto the good stuff, the scribbles and whatnot:

Until next time,
Julee

Hey, kiddos! How are you? I've been awesome! Remember those cartoons I promised you a while ago? Well, guess what! HERE THEY ARE! Enjoy these scribbles depicting fatties, schemies, rednecks, and elvis impersonators. I've got more art (watercolors, this time! with COLOR!) to show you all so, in the mean time, stay sweet my lovelies. Also, if you click on these pictures they get BIGGER!

That's all for now!
